Calculate Statutory Fees

This screen allows you to view and optionally pay statutory fees for a specific SPEAR application. Most Responsible Authorities require statutory fees to be paid prior to processing your application.

The statutory fees are broken down into the applicable planning, certification and re-certification components and the total of the fees is also displayed.

Note - these fees are only the statutory fees that have been determined based upon the information you have provided so far. Your council may also impose other fees, such as advertising costs or inspection fees. It is recommended that you contact the council to discuss all applicable fees.

If your council has a payment gateway, the following text is displayed:

"You can pay your fees by cheque (made payable to council), by post or over the counter at your council office (Click on the contacts link above for the list of mailing addresses), or you can pay online. Click on the pay fees online hyperlink to open the payment gateway of the payee organisation in a new window."

If your council does not have a Payment gateway, the following text is displayed:

"You can pay your fees by cheque (made payable to council), by post or over the counter at your council office. Click on the contacts link above for the list of mailing addresses. Note: <Organisation Name> does not have a payment gateway."

Note: In most circumstances, the local council is the Responsible Authority. However in some circumstances the Minister for Planning is the Responsible Authority. For further information, visit the Ministerial Permits webpage.
